limerick

クラスで使われた、limerickを2編、面白いので紹介。（limerickというのは、滑稽詩っつーんでしょうか、日本だと川柳みたいな感じですかねえ？　5行詩で、AABBA という韻の踏み方をするようです。）

A monkey sprang down from a tree
And angrily cursed Charles D.
    "I hold with the Bible,"
    he said, "It's libel
that man is descended from me!"

Charles D. はダーウィン。ではお次。

An amoeba and his brother 
were sharing a joke with each other
    They laughed so hard
    They split apart.
And each of them now is a mother.

こうして見ると、両方生物ネタだなあ。
